Oscar Awards

Oscar Award Was Celebrated on7th March 2010 and its Hosted by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin.

Oscars 2010 or the 82nd Academy Awards will be aired live on Sunday, 7th March starting at at 5 p.m. PT (8 p.m. ET), presented at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. It will be hosted by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin.

For many years the ceremony was aired in February. This year’s award ceremony was hosted by Australian actor Hugh Jackman.

This year’s most nominated films are “Avatar” and “The Hurt Locker” with nine nominations each.

Nominees for the 82nd Academy Awards were announced by Academy President Tom Sherak and actress Anne Hathaway on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at 5:30 a.m.

The 2010 Academy Awards will air March 7 at 8/7c on ABC. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will serve as co-hosts of the event.
